Minister Deborah Leaner CEO, Deborah Leaner Ministries
An inspirational leader and powerful educator, Minister Deborah Leaner empowers women to cultivate vibrant, purpose-driven lives through timeless biblical principles. As the founder of Divine Discipleship for Sisters (DDS), she has successfully graduated over 5,000 women across Maryland, DC, and Virginia, making a lasting impact in their lives.
A dynamic preacher and teacher, Deborah is a three-time award-winning talk show host of “Ms. Deborah’s Tearoom” in the Greater Washington, DC area. She is also a published author of seven books and co-author of four, with extensive experience as a former Adjunct Professor of Communications at Prince George’s Community College.
Deborah’s passion for nurturing and equipping women has led her to speak at conferences and seminars nationwide. As President of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) Washington, DC Local Chapter and Eastern Regional Manager, she represented NAPW at the White House’s 50th Anniversary of the Federal Women’s Program, hosted by President Obama.
Her engaging TV and radio programs tackle essential topics such as relationships, communication, and domestic violence, featuring interviews with notable figures like Michelle McKinney-Hammond and Michele Singletary. Deborah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Florida A&M University, a Master’s in Counseling from Atlanta University, and completed post-graduate studies at George Washington University. She was licensed by Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr. of First Baptist Church of Glenarden in the Greater Washington, DC area.
